Rockland Rockets Basketball

Coach Joan has been playing basketball in NYC, she played for Mt. St. Ursula HS in the Bronx and was a recipient of full athletic scholarship to NCAA Division 1 Iona College. After College she continued to play in post graduate leagues. Her coaching experience includes, but not limited to, instructional basketball as a collegiate player at summer camps and later began coaching various levels of youth basketball, recreational, travel, CYO and AAU for a combined total of 20 years. Coach Joan is passionate about the game which she been involved with all of her life and wants to share her knowledge and love of the game with our young female athletes. After playing her entire career with her sister Eileen, she is enjoying the opportunity to coach with her again this year.

Coach Collamore/Clinton's 6th grade girls team bring home the number 1 spot with a 4 - 0 record in the 2010 Metro NY division 2 tournament.   They qualify to represent the New York Metro District at the AAU Nationals in Franklin,Tennesee.
